Viper demo

As of now, two demo versions exist for Viper. They correspond to two different (and equivalent) clients querying the same query processor. A tutorial for our software also exists.
  • PHP interface: this light version of our demo is probably the one you want to use. It offers nice functionalities while staying fast and good-looking...
  • Snake Charmer: this applet has been written in collaboration with the Audio-Visual Lab at EPF Lausanne in the frame of the Circus project. Historically, it has been the first client that was shared betwen two CBIR systems, namely Viper and CIRCUS. Since it is a Java applet, you may encounter some problems, mostly linked with connection delays and firewalls.
  • A older CGI version exists but if not using MRML and uses a very old version of the query processor.
