The goal of this new version of MRML is to build on the experience we acquired from the use of version 1.0.
In summary, the requirements of version 2.0 are:
- Better use of XML capabilities and context
- More formal extension procedure
- To accomodate server administration
- (from version 1.0)Simple, easy-to-grasp specification
- (from version 1.0)Easy and quick to implement
- (from version 1.0)Robust to extensions and modifications
For short, this second version is a cleanup of the initial specification rather than its bring new features.
